In observance of the day, the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ is encouraging students, alumni, faculty, staff and members of the Livingston community to wear red and white and show their ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ pride. ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ will host a College Colors Day photo set in front of the Young Hall Cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 4. Everyone wearing ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ red and white is invited to participate.
The ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ has entered a new partnership agreement with the United States Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is designed to encourage and enhance study in the scientific disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

To encourage safety on the road before the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµâ€™s spring break, March 25 through 29, the University Police Department is offering two events: a tire change instructional clinic Wednesday, March 20, from 1-3 p.m. and an impaired driving and Fatal Vision® presentation Thursday, March 21 beginning at 6 p.m. that lasts approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
For more than 20 years, the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ has offered a hands-on learning opportunity for accounting students to prepare individual state and federal income tax returns at no charge to the tax payer through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program which receives grant assistance from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) through ImpactAmerica.
Dr. Mark Davis is excited about ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµâ€™s new Global Scholars Community Scholarship, an exclusive program designed to elevate students’ academic experience and shape a more interconnected future. These new scholarship opportunities are aimed at incoming high school seniors and for current ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ freshmen. To be considered for this prestigious scholarship, applications must be submitted by April 15, 2024.
Adonis Williams was in junior high before he experienced what it is like to have a male educator in a classroom. One of only a few male students in the junior and senior blocks studying elementary education on campus at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ, Williams and his classmates are doing their part to break the cycle for the next generation.
The ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ will host its 12th annual University Research Symposium (URS) Monday, March 4 (virtually) and in-person Tuesday, March 5. Led by the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the event showcases 106 research presentations by undergraduate, graduate and professional researchers from ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ and 20 other universities across seven countries. Visual artist Garland Farwell kicked off a year-long artist-residency, Monday, Feb. 19 at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµâ€™s Julia Tutwiler Library, with a folk-art exhibit of hex signs, a uniquely American art form and best-known symbol of the Pennsylvania Dutch, interpreted through an African American, southern and rural lens.
