In observance of the day, the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ is encouraging students, alumni, faculty, staff and members of the Livingston community to wear red and white and show their ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ pride. ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ will host a College Colors Day photo set in front of the Young Hall Cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 4. Everyone wearing ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ red and white is invited to participate.
Music has been a constant for the Hayes siblings Juliana, Jesalyn and Jordyn since they were old enough to talk.
Sharon Valverde has researched moose in Alaska, elk in New Mexico, and mule deer in Texas. However, nothing in her extensive experience in deer ecology and management prepared the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ assistant professor and researcher to dip her toes into the study of bats. Joining her in this research is Taylor Underwood, a graduate assistant in the Master of Science in Conservation Biology program.
Despite growing up just a few miles down the road from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ, Dr. Mary Hanks never expected to find herself teaching on campus.

Two graduate students in the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµâ€™s sport management program recently engaged in real-world projects through Riipen, the world’s largest experiential learning marketplace.
Jason Green came to Livingston with a plan. He wanted to continue his education and earn a bachelor’s degree that would complement the associate’s degree he earned in funeral service education, and he did that. But he says that his experience at Livingston University (now the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ) added more to his life and future than merely two years of higher education. Leaving with a degree under his belt, he says that what stands out to him most is what was under his feet.
A new scholarship endowment will honor a family legacy at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ, its namesake the parents of ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓÆµ President Ken Tucker. The Dr. Betty Jean and Howard Tucker Endowed Scholarship, endowed at $150,000, is a transformative gift that will provide perpetual support for students for many years to come.
