  • Edlira Bozgo Farka is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has recently joined our Sugarhouse Benign Hematology HCI clinic as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining us, Edlira was the Program Manager and Family Nurse Practitioner with the HCI Tobacco Cessation Program for 4 years. Before that Edlira worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah Sleep Wake Center for 4 years, and 5 years as a Registered Nurse at Primary Children Medical Center.


    Edlira holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah (2022), a master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Westminster’s College (2012), a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah (2007), and a bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology from Brigham Young ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ (2006).


    Edlira is passionate about community involvement and helping others improve their life and well-being. She has served on the board of First Friends, a non-profit private corporation that manages First Friends ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵcare programs; and she also takes every opportunity to travel to Albania, her home country, to volunteer and help the communities there has the best healthcare possible.


    When she is not working, Edlira enjoys spending time with her family and helping her three boys with their schoolwork and activities. Edlira loves traveling and reading and she is an avid piano player.

    I felt brushed off by her. She talked a lot about smoking (I don't and never have) and sleep apnea (I've already been tested for that and don't have it).

    She is careful and really good at listening which is really hard to find nowadays in a physician. She doesnÕt gaslight you at all which is really common in the western medical care system. Dr Edlira is definitely a 10 out of 10.

    I was delighted to meet Edlira Bozgo Farka. She was so professional and genuine. She addressed my concerns and laid out a plan of care to help get the health issues I am having moving forward and get me on the road to feeling better.
